Huh! That’s a picture of what we have to look forward to in another month or so. Our lilacs have only just started to leaf out from buds. It’ll be a while yet before we have fragrant blossoms.

I’ve been to Bellingham once (to a mall, shopping of course – cross border an’ all) but I don’t really remember what it’s like.

Fantasized a couple of times about getting a job at the refinery in Anacortes, but that never happened. Don’t even know if that plant is still running or not.

- Both refineries are still operating in Anacortes. There are also two refineries at Cherry Point, about twenty miles west of Bellingham, both operated by BP. If you go to England, will you work for BP?
