So, Daisy Fae was coming to Seattle, and we decided to do an impromptu T-shirt Friday, partially in mourning for Nurse Myra’s continued absence from the ‘Net. To make it more interesting, we did an exchange. She brought me a T-shirt from San Francisco, where she was also traveling this week, and I got her one from Seattle.
We met at her totally geeky hotel room. You should have seen this thing. There were HD pictures on the wall, and the phone had rotating quotations. But I’ll let her tell you about that. We exchanged T-shirts, and then took the pictures. And then we went to the waterfront for lunch. And a very fine lunch it was. Except for me choking on a piece of bread. Fortunately, Daisy Fae knew just what to do. Absolutely nothing. Seriously folks, I was still coughing and talking while I was writhing in pain, so that was the right thing to do.
So, I hereby present T-shirt Friday.
After lunch, we went down the waterfront for a bit to an arcade where they have a carousel. Daisy Fae had mentioned that she liked carousels on another blogs comments, so she was in seventh heaven. So was I. I got to meet one of the neatest ladies around, and a blog hero of mine. But hey, I wish somebody had told me I desperately need a haircut.
