Easter eggs are little subprograms in DVD’s, games, etc. that are hidden, non-obvious, and are there for entertainment. Well, I’m not talking about that kind of easter eggs. My easter eggs are for entertainment and enjoyment, but are not necessarily built into any sub-routine.
Easter egg hunt.
When I signed up for WordPress, I put my email address as one I wasn’t using frequently. So when someone comments on my blog(s), I get an email on that address. And for me, that’s like finding an easter egg in an easter egg hunt.
I’ve been away for a couple of days. I’ve been in Tibet. Not literally, but submersed in one of Elliot Pattison’s Inspector Shan mysteries, which are set in modern day Tibet. So I haven’t been checking the blogs much this weekend.
I was therefore surprised when I checked my email to have a whole clutch of easter eggs. I hadn’t even really blogged since Friday. And they were all from one person. So thanks, Rob, for a clutch of easter eggs that made my day.
I love my readers, all three of you who subscribe on Google reader. And all the folks who drop in to see my boobs. And all the folks who leave me easter eggs. If I get too whiney (I have been accused of such by some siblings), you can always ask me if I want a little cheese with that.
